There was a programme on BBC1 recently which showed that it was more economic to use a machine provided that it was totally full, and ';pre-rinse'; and ';extended wash '; were NOT usedWhats better for the enviroment, washing up by hand or using a dishwasher?
Hi,

Actually it would be better to use safer cleaning products. I just found out about this wellness company and you would be amazed to see their products. PLease email me, so I can tell you all the details about it.

Thank you~!
if it is a full load then it will be a dish washer as you could get the full dinner service in and the saucepans and it takes less water than a sink providing it is a fairly modern one
By hand; it takes less water, soap and energy.
A modern dishwasher uses 9 litres of water, whereas a typical sink will hold at least 20 litres of water. It will also heat the water more economically than your hot water heater at home. As long as you fill the dishwasher before you switch it on, a dishwasher will actually pay for itself over the course of a few years.
