my parents have been using dish soap and a towel for so many years and nothing has happened to our car. what brands of car soap should i use so i dont see any paint chip off or anything like that?What is the proper way to hand wash a car?
hair shampoo works great and will not harm your paint

rubber gloves ( to protect from oils from your hands)
, and a microfiber towel
nothing that can conduct dust
dust will scratch your paint

Wow, tough one. Unfortunately, most low-tech devices don't have support documents on-line. My search turned up nothing -- your question was consistently the top site in my various queries.
Perhaps instead of following what seems to be a fruitless quest for an instruction manual, you should post a question asking what you had hoped the instruction manual would have answered? After all, many washing machines are basically similar, and a less machine-specific answer might help you with your laundry!

I just love the feeling of the suds in my hands. I love the satisfaction when a stain dissapears I love hanging the clothes, I love looking at them hanging clean, bright, and ready to dry,.Am I crazy? I love washing clothes by hand?
Yep, you're crazy. As a loon. But if you are, I am too! I don't especially enjoy washing clothes by hand, but I like machine-laundering towels.
As far as laundry goes, towels are about the only thing I enjoy doing. I like big, thick, fluffy, expensive towels, and I buy them only when they're on sale at a good price. My favorite color is ivory or cream. I wash my towels in warm water with cold water rinse, and I like fresh smelling detergent. I add a drop or two of fabric softener and dry the towels in the dryer. I take them out as soon as they're dry, and fold them. I once saw Martha Steward demonstrate how to fold towels, so I fold mine in that way. I put them in the linen closet so that all the edges are exactly the same. They look like department store towels on display! I tuck in a lavender sachet or spritz the closet with a linen spray. I enjoy the ';luxury'; of this ritual, and I feel pampered when I use my towels. I like my guests to find pleasure in using my fluffy, sweet-smelling towels.
So, we are kindred spirits in that we both enjoy the textures, smells, and end-result of our labors. It's wonderful that we are able to find joy in such simple, homey things!Am I crazy? I love washing clothes by hand?
So call me crazy too. ! I wash a lot of my tops out by hand.
Roll them in a towel,,, and lay flat to dry.
AND I got one of those outdoor dryer lines up a few weeks ago and it's great!
I live in Florida, so 99% of the time it is nice outside and I am hanging out everything I can out to dry.
It all smells better, I listen to the birds, get some sun,
feel better I'm not using all that electricity on the dryer. :)
I see nothing crazy about that. I love too also but do love my washing machine as with 5 kids and a total of 10 people living in my house, hand washing gets hard. So I mainly will try to hand wash delicates and my 2 toddlers clothes and blankets. I say good for you. :) Have a lovely day.

If you are talking the dishes in the sink, then any other soap will do, laundry soap for example. However if you are talking washing clothes, then there is only one, soap used in an automatic dishwasher. Both laundry soap and automatic dishwasher soap are designed without foaming agents, in other words, little to no suds in the washer. Use something like a dishwashing liquid that you use to wash your dishes in the sink and stand by for the sight gag you've seen in the movies where the washing machine overflows with foam. And last, if you have nothing else, toss in some plain old Arm and Hammer baking soda. It isn't a soap actually, but will turn the water alkaline which does help wash laundry.
