Hand washing clothes that need to be washed with like colors?

I have this cute shirt that I just bought, and on the label it says to wash it with cold water, gentle, and with like colors. I don't have too many clothes that are brown, and so i was wondering if it's okay to hand wash it?Hand washing clothes that need to be washed with like colors?

When it says to wash with like colors it means to wash with other dark colors, blacks, reds, greens, blues, etc. The first few times you wash it in the washer you will want to make sure to take it out right away to avoid any possible bleeding. After that you are good to go as long as you use cold water and a good detergent.
