using extra hot water in the washing machine or by hand will shrink them more than drying them on high, but i would use both.How can i shrink my jeans by hand washing them?

they will shrink :)
Hot water wash + high heat dry = guaranteed shrinkage to 100% cotton clothing.


Unless they are ';pre-shrunk';, in which case you may have to repeat the above unless the item has already been ';pre-shrunked'; as much as possible...
